Charity Raffle - Supporting a local sports club!
Chance to win a tandem paragliding flight!
As a team of adventure and adrenaline enthusiasts, we are always happy to support other local communities and clubs that offer the chance to try a new activity or join a sports team.
We were approached by Crawley and Brighton Gaels, a Gaelic football club with players coming together from Brighton, Worthing, Haywards Heath, other areas in Sussex, and South London. The club gives people the chance to get out, stay active, and meet like-minded people. Having learned about their fundraising efforts, we donated the gift of a tandem paragliding flight.
On 20th July, the club held their fundraising raffle to raise money for their club and for the Sussex Swans Australian Rules Club. Friends, family, and members of the clubs gathered at the King and Queen pub in Brighton for a night of fun and prizes.
One of the prizes was our gift voucher for a fun flight with Mile High Paragliding. The lucky winner will be given the wonder of flight with a tandem paragliding experience over the beautiful South Coast and South Downs.
The event raised an impressive £1,117 to go towards equipment, kit, pitch hire, and promotion. The paragliding gift voucher was won by the captain of the women’s team, who was over the moon with her prize. We have been in contact to book a date and she will be able to take to the skies soon with our experienced pilot.
